Standardised measurements of clothing have altered over the years. Please do not be put off by the sizing label on vintage garments; this will most likely be completely different to today's sizing and the item could still be the perfect fit. We have tried our best to state the most accurate size on all our items. Each garment has been measured laid flat. We recommend using a similar item in your wardrobe to any item you are interested in, and comparing their measurements before purchasing.
Please use this as a guideline,
Bust - with the tape measure under your arms, measure around your body, crossing over the fullest part of your chest.
We measure from underarm to underarm of the front side of the garment, eg: 50cm. Double this to get the bust size depicted in the table below.
Waist - measure around the natural waist.
We measure around the entirety of the waist to get the waist measurement, eg: 79cm.
Hips - stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
We measure around the entirety of the hips, eg: 105cm.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any more information on any garments that we have available.
