size guide

Standardised measurements of clothing have altered over the years. Please do not be put off by the sizing label on vintage garments; this will most likely be completely different to today's sizing and the item could still be the perfect fit. We have tried our best to state the most accurate size on all our items. Each garment has been measured laid flat. We recommend using a similar item in your wardrobe to any item you are interested in, and comparing their measurements before purchasing. Please use this as a guideline:

Bust / Chest - Measure from underarm to underarm, flat across your chest then doubled, eg 98cm.
Waist - Measure around the natural waist. We measure around the entirety of the waist to get the waist measurement, eg: 79cm.
HipsMeasure the fullest part of the hip. Sits just below hip creases. We measure around the entirety of the hips, eg: 105cm.
Length -  Measure the length from the top of collar, down the centre back to the hem.
Shoulders - Laid flat, measure shoulder to shoulder from the top point of each shoulder, flat across the back.
Sleeve lengthMeasure the outer sleeve from the from the shoulder to the bottom of the sleeve.
