Better Half began its journey in 2012 as a vintage clothing line. Founded by Sarah Mary, Better Half celebrates nostalgia and kindness at its core. 2017 saw the opening of their first store, in Observatory, Cape Town. Better Half expanded to include a curated selection of small batch homeware and local design in 2019. 

Sarah does regular trips across South Africa, and the world, constantly seeking out quality pieces to bring back home to her store. A treasure-trove-oasis of carefully arranged and exhibited items, the store is a space that welcomes its cherished customers to find their own one-off, unique Better Half piece.
